Teen Fact Book (1996)

High Design, New York, New York, 1996

Description

This book was used as a marketing tool to present research statistics on Channel One’s viewership as a means to generate ad sales. There were strict limitations on budget — the client could only afford two colors since the research was extensive and the book ran so long (64 pages). The biggest challenge was to organize all of the information so that it was easy to read, yet did not become predictable and routine. The idea behind the stamped leatherette cover, rounded corners, and compact size was to suggest a “passport” into the teenager’s mind.
