Building: 3,000 Years of Design, Engineering and Construction
MGMT. design, Brooklyn, New York, 2007
Description
Building: 3,000 Years of Design, Engineering and Construction traces the origins of modern building engineering in the Western world from ancient times to the present day. The 640-page book includes more than 800 images, extensive time lines, charts, sidebars and extensive back matter. The book was divided into nine color-coded chapters. Each begins with a time-line overview of events from that period and includes a table of contents, effectively creating multiple books within each chapter.
