Flora Exotica
Carol Shloss, Boston, Massachusetts, 1972
Description
This book is a vehicle for Jacque Hnizdovsky’s floral woodcuts, which were commissioned in 1970 by The Goodine Press. The texts by Gordon DeWolf were written to complement the illustrations. The colors were chosen to suggest the natural colors of the flowers as far as possible within the four-color limitations of the regular edition.
Special features: Gold foil stamping on spine; gold rule jointure of sides and spine.
