This lavish publication introducing the art of the late German artist Oubey was designed as five distinct books. These books are contained in a fractal white slipcase, reflecting Oubey’s formal interest in the sciences.

Love it or lump it, this was the strangest package I saw in two full days of witnessing strange packaging. There was some disagreement over the efficacy of the design, but ultimately we decided it would be wrong to deny a wider audience the wonder and shock of discovering this book for themselves.
