Nick Jr. Pig Identity
Nickelodeon On-Air Design, New York, New York, 1996
Description
The creative strategy was to create a station I.D. reflecting the nurturing relationship that exists between the Caregiver and the Junior-shaped characters that form the Nick Jr. logo.
I admire the spot both for its narrative structure and use of mixed media. The spot demonstrates to our preschool audience that someone big can also be a teacher. The big pig, representative of any child’s caregiver, is someone the little pig looks up to and learns from in a playful way.
