Chip Kidd Design, New York, New York, 2001

Description

The difference between this jacket and most of the jackets I design is that the author is a close friend, which always makes it a little dicey. Luckily he instantly got it.

The major conceit in these essays is that the writer feels he is in over his head and not qualified to write about whatever he’s writing about. So the jacket just reflects what a frustrated reader with a red marker pen would do upon totally agreeing with him.
