Passage to Vietnam
Against All Odds Productions, Sausalito, California, 1995
Description
Many Americans still regard Vietnam as a war rather than a country. The designers of this CD-ROM wanted viewers to experience the country through the eyes of the 70 photographers who were asked to document modern Vietnam for a week. The interface was designed as a series of invitations activated by a 3-D Quebe™, a multifaceted navigational device. The photographers’ voices and video histories personalized the experience, while background Vietnamese music transports the viewer into a faraway world.
