Measure Me Stick
Studio 1 a.m., Chicago, Illinois, 2009
Description
Measure Me Stick transforms the traditional ruler into a playful, modern and educational object. Display as an original graphic piece or use to chart your child’s growth through the years. Measure Me Stick is composed of three color combinations/information displays and integrates the metric and inch systems. Each piece serves as a utilitarian heirloom and is handmade in Chicago.
Materials include bamboo construction, nontoxic ink and finish, and stainless steel pegs (mounting hardware).
Juror Notes
Great concept and execution.
A great baby gift for any designer.
Although it can be used, I love it just as a piece of art.
