Steven L. Stamper, SEGD
Steve Stamper was one of the founders of fd2s in 1985. Based in Austin, Texas, the firm is a world leader in the fields of wayfinding consulting and environmental graphic design.
Stamper's recent work has included the leadership of teams responsible for environmental graphic design at private, civic, and institutional projects around the world, including the Texas Medical Center and the M. D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, the headquarters of the Lance Armstrong Foundation, and the University of California San Francisco Medical Center.
Stamper served as President of the Society for Environmental Graphic Design in 2008 and 2009, and is credited with the development of the industry standard Grade II Braille digital font system.
