Architectour Japan ’95: An Inspiring Architectural Journey
Design Associates, Pasadena, California, 1995
Description
An invitation directed at American architects took the form of a timeline view of 129 sites, seminars, and events offered in a two-week tour of Japan. The designers communicated this complex information with simplicity in a style appropriate to a creative but often aesthetically critical audience. Portraits, short bios, and project photos of nine notable Japanese architects connected by linear graphic elements give prospective attendees a flavor of the tour, and allow them to construct their personal itinerary.
