Nancye Green, 1996
Description
Nancye Green graduated from Tulane University in 1968 with honors in political science. In 1973, she graduated cum laude in environmental design from the Parsons School of Design. She is a partner in Donovan and Green, a company designed to solve integrated communications problems. Founded in 1974, it is a reflection of the partners' interest in employing the broadest array of media in shaping experiences that inform, entertain, educate, and sell. In her work, she leads teams of architects, designers, writers, and media producers on projects that have included the Liberty Science Center and the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library. Some projects have required the invention and definition of new formats, such as location-based entertainment environments for Sony, a cruise ship for Celebrity Cruises, and new retail formats for Hallmark, where she is on the board of directors. She is past president of both the AIGA and the International Design Conference in Aspen. She lectures extensively across the country.
