Clement Mok, 1997
Description
Clement Mok (co-chair) is a self-described “media agnostic” who creates meaningful connections between people, ideas, art, and technology through his many design and consulting projects — everything from cyberspace theme parks and expert publishing systems to major identity programs. Currently chairman and information architect of Studio Archetype (San Francisco), Mok is the founder of two successful products companies: CMCD (publisher of the award-winning Visual Symbol Library, a collection of royalty-free photographs and spot animations) and NetObjects (one of Fortune magazine's “25 Coolest Technology Companies in 1996”). Formerly creative director at Apple Computer, he has published internationally and has received hundreds of awards in many industry categories. He is a charter board member of the New Media Centers and the author of Designing Business: Multiple Media, Multiple Disciplines from Adobe Press, a book about applying design and business principles in the context of digital media.
