Project brief: Something very edgy that would appeal to the literary audiences and has a shock value as this book is about writers writing about death.

Approach: Gave the project to Rodrigo Corral, master of “edgy and contemporary” and let him work his magic.

Effectiveness: I don’t believe the authors were in love with this cover but we felt so strongly about it in-house that we pushed it through.

Aptly named. I would say this cover approach is inevitable too but no less witty and inspired.
