Essays, First and Second Series
Peter Beilenson, Edna Beilenson, H.A. Mueller (cover design), Newark, Delaware, 1946
Description
Juror Notes
Despite a typeface which seems small for so long a type page, this is a handsome book. It is particularly well illustrated with chiaroscuro wood engravings. The binding is attractive and substantial. The book as a whole is rather more ambitious than most works from this excellent press.
