Move to the Lake, The Boeing Company
NBBJ Branding & Design, Seattle, Washington, 2004
Description
The final assembly of the 737 within this cavernous 1 million–square–foot production facility shifted dramatically with Boeing’s new streamlined processes, which led to a 40 percent reduction of inventory and increased unused factory space that could house people versus parts. Boeing and NBBJ then launched an innovative project that would bring together the people who design, build and support the airplanes, along with the planes themselves, under one roof.
