My Mind Without Color
Calagraphic Design, Calacampania Studios, 2007
Description
This poster was created for an exhibition of black-and-white posters and prints by Ronald J. Cala II. The basis of the exhibition was to prove that if the concept of a piece is solid then color can be removed and the image can be just as successful. The illustration for the poster is made up of many different designs and illustrations, some that were initially created without color and some of which were converted to be one-color images specifically for the exhibition. Combined with the two-color version of the Calagraphic Design logo, these are symbolic of the ideas and concepts used in creating these works. This exhibition was held in the Flux Gallery at Art Making Machine Studios in Philadelphia.
