Let’s Put the Future Behind Us

Let’s Put the Future Behind Us

Grove/Atlantic, New York, New York, 1995

Description

This book is a satirical comment on contemporary Russian life where Capitalist greed has replaced the pro-worker pursuits of Russia past. I wanted the cover to be a twist on the old Rodchenko/Russian Construvtivist posters with the message now heralding the advances of the Russian Mafia and the commercialization of Russia’s past. I think this cover is a clever use of a cliched design style.
