The catalogue cover for Mutant Materials in Contemporary Design was an attempt to produce a series of diverse objects in an industrial manner. Although mass-produced in a similar fashion, each cover is unique. Pleasure is derived from their difference. During the process of casting, the polychrome resin is allowed to flow as it will, producing variegated combinations of color and transparency, thickness and shape.
