“Freeform Summer Poems” spots
MTV Networks, New York, New York, 2001
Description
The “Freeform Summer Poems” enhances Noggin’s image as a place where kids go to express themselves, to explore their creativity and to connect with other kids. The poems were designed to reach kids ages 6 to 11 and inspire them to express themselves freely and creatively through the convergence of television and the accompanying website.
Juror Notes
“It’s all over the map, but that’s how kids are. I liked the irreverent use of different kinds of imagery—the pixel stuff, the strange typography, the home movie footage—which spoke of children and poetry.”
“It’s beautifully confused. Fucked-up in a good way.”
“I think they appropriately represented the theme, which is innocence.”
