NikePark

Nike Image Design, Beaverton, Oregon, 1996

Description

Nikepark was created to tell the story of Nike’s global commitment to sports and to celebrate the efforts and achievements of our world-class athletes. An 82,000-square-foot parking lot structure adjacent to Centennial Olympic park in Atlanta was transformed into an interactive experience. The design of the space included a retail store, video, and multimedia experiences, interactive sports park, educational and memorabilia displays. Through Nikepark, the consumer was able to learn about Olympic sports and the specialized products Nike designs to enhance an athlete’s performance.
