Nike Vision Point of Purchase
Nike, Inc., Beaverton, Oregon, 1996
Description
This point-of-purchase package was designed to launch Nike into the eyewear business and into retail. The design inspiration for the package was the “oval” Nike brand logo, Nike’s heritage in footwear (the rubber outsole waffle pattern) and the aerodynamic technical look of the product. The logo sign takes its inspiration from a flashed eyewear lens and incorporates the brand logo. The magneto display presents our innovative templeless eyewear as it would be worn on your face. Made of footwear outsole rubber, the display mattes were designed to isolate Nike products and create a merchandised Nike area under the counter. The wheeled countertop case, an extension of the core point-of-purchase package, buys Nike real estate on countertops throughout the store.
