In selecting this item the jury agreed that few books of the Fifty presented so great a variety of problems for the designer and printer. The title page, the handling of the chapter openings, the superb reproduction of the music pages, the leading of the text pages, the spacing between the two columns on each page are all well done. In addition, the illustrations are in harmony with the book over-all.
