This poster was an announcement for Earth Day 1991, an environmental event in New York. It was printed on recycled paper with vegetable inks. In order to save paper further, it was printed on the back of leftover posters from 1990. Its crude design was meant as a visual antidote to slick, over-produced design that would not be perceived as environmentally sensitive.
