All New Crime Favorites, 1980, no. 86
Seymour Chwast, New York, New York, 1980
Description
The final issue of the Graphic looked at crime, criminals, and justice. The series “Find the Murder Weapon” asked readers to solve comic crimes. In nineteenth-century magazine style, Mantel illustrated a crime story by Edgar Allan Poe. And in addition to showing various designs for police badges, “The Crimeoleum Floor Covering Guide” featured a dead victim among the floor patterns.
