This book documents the work of the important American conceptual artist Lawrence Weiner. It was a challenge to design a book around an artist who uses typography as his medium. The book is structured to use as many images as could be gathered that show the work “in situ.”

The horizontal format suits the artist’s work well, while the vertical captioning helps separate from the work.
