Wired Intro Spreads
Adams/Morioka, Beverly Hills, California, 1996
Description
Wired magazine traditionally asks certain designers from around the country to design the intro spreads for each issue. We were given a quote to drive the content, and determined that a use of symbolism and narrative would solve the problem. Disparate symbolic images were layered (sans Photoshop filters) to create a narrative. For example, water = money, Iwo Jima = perseverance. We were especially interested in the concept of ambiguous unfinished narrative, as well as the non-digital/primitive form of the layering and images.
