For this series, Italian publisher BUR (Rizzoli’s softcover imprint) asked us to repackage a selection of the classic novels one reads during childhood with an updated, fresh look. We decided the design should appeal to both adults and children, and that the best way to do that was with clean design (for grown-ups) and a fun spot illustration (for kids). Jeffrey Fisher and his whimsical style came to mind right away. Each book is printed on uncoated stock with two colors, and the type is embossed. 

The redesign of these classic books is charming. Illustration and type are whimsical, making these classics accessible to a younger new audience.
