Karin Hibma is president of Cronan Artefact, the product development, manufacturing, and marketing company that launched Walking Man, an apparel line, designed by Michael Cronan, that won I.D. magazine's 1992 Consumer Product Gold Award and 1993 Honorable Mention. Hibma is also business director and chief financial officer of the design services firm Cronan Design, whose award-winning work is represented in the collections of the Library of Congress, the Smithsonian Institution, London's Victoria & Albert Museum, and the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art. Hibma is a former board director of San Francisco Women in Advertising, a current member of the AIGA, and a frequent speaker on entrepreneurial success and the business of design.
