Downtown Seattle—1983
Jay Rockey, Public Relations, 1985
Description
This map was created for use by tourists in Seattle, showing the main downtown area. Our goal in overall “tone” was to create a visually pleasing map with more taste and elegance than the traditional tourist map. The isometric illustration method was chosen for its ability to cleanly show the forms of all downtown buildings. The detail allows the map reader to identify, by their form, buildings that may not be specifically listed in the map index.
