Art/Work: Everything You Need to Know (and Do) As You Pursue Your Art Career
Greenblatt-Wexler, Los Angeles, California, 2009
Description
When we were approached by the authors of Art/Work, they had a large amount of content and were unsure of how it could work together as a single piece. Aside from writing the primary text for the book, they had been collecting interviews from art-world professionals, sample legal documents, diagrams, checklists, etc. It was our challenge to develop a design structure that integrated all of this diverse content with primary text. Overall, we wanted the book to function as a useful manual for artists.
Juror Notes
Clean, direct, striking color and type integrate the humorous notion of pursuing a career in art.
