Dance 22 Poster
Herman Miller Inc., Zeeland, Michigan, 1995
Description
The objective of this poster was to get the attention of Hope College students and other community types through the front windows of famous places like Jim’s Family Style Diner and House O’Floormats. So with a piece of charcoal in one hand and a pad of tracing paper in the other, I made rubbings of letterforms to capture the spirit, energy, and motion of the dance experience. The Director of the concert was so thrilled with the finished poster, she gave me two tickets to the concert, $.87 off the JFSD Catch of the Day, and 15% off my next set of floormats.
