Description
Qualcomm Inc. wanted to tell the industry and world that they were the developers of CDMA technology and sell a new product which utilizes this technology—The QCP 800 cellular phone. The creative path we took was to educate the public on the fundamental difference in performance between analogue and digital phone. The look and governmental feel of the piece fell out of the history of CDMA technology, which was utilized by US spies in the 1940’s.
We printed the majority of the brochure with black. I selected various French Paper stocks and allowed them to act as the second color (except on the insert). When we presented the piece, the client immediately bought off on it. They found the money to produce it as well as expand on the idea with other material. In the end we all valued the piece because of its strong concept and intrigue. Thanks for good clients.
