“Brotherhood” exhibition
Ogilvy & Mather, New York, New York, 2002
Description
Juror Notes
“Brotherhood: In Strength & Sorrow—Images of the FDNY” exhibit was launched at the Museum of the City of New York in February 2002. The exhibit was inspired by the best-selling book Brotherhood, a 240-page pictorial tribute to the New York City Fire Department. It featured more than 70 photographs of the men of the FDNY taken shortly after the tragic events of September 11. The photographs were shot by leading photographers who donated their time, film and photos to the book, and were donated to the museum’s permanent collection.
