Did a horse fall?
Art Center College of Design, Los Angeles, California, 2006
Description
The objective was to address a personal evaluation of Akira Kurosawa. Conceptual issues related to the nature of Kurosawa’s directing style, characteristics and philosophy became important components of the problem-solving process. The glove on the cover portrays the director’s habit of constantly moving hands, as well as a precise refined work wearing very humble working gloves.
Juror Notes
“I don’t understand this book but I am impressed by it and keep coming back to it. Like movie clips strung together to make another movie. And then the gloves.”
