America Works progress report
Kym Abrams Design, Chicago, Illinois, 2002
Description
Policy makers are a tough audience, and we had a tough sell: to put the issue of jobs for returning offenders on the public policy agenda. Photography wouldn’t do it—we needed compelling statistics and research to make the case. Our solution: create a handbook on reducing crime, thus giving our client an authoritative voice. We branded America Works editorially and graphically, with simple, straightforward headlines and charts, smart typography and tight copy that lays out the problem and establishes the effectiveness of America Works’ solution.
