Hertz Worldwide Collateral Program
Landor Associates, Don Kline Co., New York, New York, 1995
Description
Corporate communication standards instruct chiefly through graphic explanations rather than through text. This program is designed so that all producers of the company’s collateral —— some of whom are talented designers, but many with little training in graphic design —— can create print ads, signage, brochures, forms, and other identity applications that consistently support the worldwide expression of Hertz. Simple pictograms and step-by-step examples demonstrate the program’s flexibility and precision, set the desired corporate tone and spirit, and specify criteria for color selection and picture usage.
