Miles Davis “The Complete Live at the Plugged Nickel 1965”
Sony Music, New York, New York, 1996
Description
I gave myself a set of tools to create this package: one font, one color for each disk, and black-and-white photography. The imagery depicts things that might be found on a cocktail table in a club (the location of the recording), and the type treatment suggests the free-form nature of a jazz session. This project was produced on a very tight budget, so there are no extras. It is all 4/1 printing on dull coated stock, in a plastic jewel case within a plain box.
